About Us
Euchre Creek Farm is a 117 acre, regenerative focused farm just 6 miles inland from the Central Oregon Coast. Since taking over management and starting the farm business in 2018, Sara O'Neill has focused on building a system that utilizes land, water, and animal resources wisely to produce food that she feels proud to offer her chosen community. The animals are rotationally grazed on grass and legume pastures, creating a beautiful mild-flavored meat that is praised by home cooks and chefs alike.
Practices
We practice data-driven management. We take and analyze soil and hay samples to help make decisions about our forage program. We vaccinate sheep and cattle for common diseases in livestock that are present in our area. We use antibiotics to treat infection and pain/inflammation reducing medication to treat said conditions. We do all of this in consultation with our veterinarian, Oregon State University best practice guidelines, and drawing on our extensive experience with livestock and in land management. Animals are harvested well after withdrawal dates for any medications used or treatments given.
